Dr. Lurie earned his BA and MD degrees from Duke University in Durham NC. He completed his Psychiatry Residency at Duke University. He is board certified in General Psychiatry and is a Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association.

Dr. Lurie treats adults of all ages. His peers have selected him as a member of "Best Doctors in America".

While he has worked in a variety of setting including inpatient hospitals in the past Dr Lurie currently restricts his practice to outpatient appointments.
